I need hair advice URGENTLY?!?

Okay well I'm 14 and at the moment my hair is golden blonde with lighter blonde highlights, but my brown roots are coming through. I was thinking maybe dye my hair light sandy blonde or something but I'm not sure. I don't have the money to keep gettig highlights. I know I would have to retouch my roots if I dye it one colour but I could do that myself. I really don't kow what to do with it, I need advice?!
