Why Montek & Manmohan combine has been working as a puppet in the hands of UPA chief?

Both are capable personalities but so far no reaction from them on the price rise issue, specially Mr. Manmohan singh doing nothing to stop price hike of essential commodities and ease the life of Indian people.
